It´s been a really long time since I last wrote anything on this blog, so long that honestly, I don´t know if there´s still people reading it or are interested in it, but be it there or not I´m finally back!
Anyhow, reasons for not having written anything I got plenty – work, health, trips, etc.-, but if I´m really honest with myself it really has to do with my lack of organization skills -I´m still working on that!-, but the point is that I´m finally back and ready to quick off the summer with some fun, loving and maybe one and other mystery.
So…. here are my book picks for June!

Once again I´m late with my reading list -this is starting to be the norm now-, but at least I have already finished the first of my April picks so…. not everything is lost, right?
Anyway last month I was able to read almost all of my March picks -I didn´t read my Spanish book pick-, so let’s hope this month I can do at least as good if not better than March.
So…. for this month the books, I also tried to choose books that had something to do with the things celebrated in April -which were surprisingly plenty- such as kid´s day, book´s day and Gabriel García Márquez -a Colombian journalist, writer, etc.- birthday.
Anyhow, without any further ado, to the list:

It´s been a very long time since I last wrote anything in this section of the blog -and many others-, so I thought it was time to try something different -sort off since I´ve been doing it on my book section- and try to post about all the movies I want to watch or I´m at least curious about per month.
The reason why it took me ´til March to make this change on the blog is because movies more often than not -still less than in the past- tend to be released in México several weeks -if not months- after their premier in the United States, but since most of the movies I want to watch are blockbusters or animated movies and those tend to be released more or on the same dates -sometimes before with Marvel, sometimes the same day with Fox, and others with a few weeks difference- I decided to make this post in both English and Spanish.
Anyway, here´s the list of the movies -with their Mexican release date- I´m watching at the cinema and the ones I´m waiting to stream:
Enfin, he quí mi lista de las películas -con sus fechas de estreno en México- que vere en el cine y las que esperaré a ver desde mi hogar:

So… once again I´m a little late with my book picks for the month, and at this point, it really shouldn´t really surprise anyone, especially me. ´Cause apparently I´m overly ambitious and I always want to read more books than I have time to
Case in point, I´m still reading La Gente Que Viene y Bah, the third book on my February book picks.
But I´m nothing if not optimistic when reading books, so… hopefully, I´ll be done with that book this week -fingerscrossed-, and next week I should probably be able to start with my March reads.
Anyway, this time choosing the books was kind of a challenge, ´cause the only thing that came to my mind when thinking about march was… well Spring, and while I enjoy the YA genre -although sometimes I question why I read it at all-, I didn´t want to read only that in March, so… I had to think more about other things related to March -at least in my country- besides spring, so this list is a little all over the place, but I suspect that will also be the case with some other months so… without further ado, here we go:

I´m a little late to this post due to the fact that I got a little behind with my Christmas reads -I just finished Navidad en las Montañas yesterday- and that my book club just decided yesterday in which book we are going to read this month.
Anyhow, like I´m making a habit of, for January I decided to read books that had to do with the New Year or at least talk about new beginnings, changing your life, etc. -with the exception of the book for the book club I´m in-.
So…, doing this actually turned more difficult than the two previous ones ´cause 1) I originally intended for all of the books to be about the New Years -and I could find that many in such a short notice-, and 2) I didn´t take into consideration that one of the books I listed -and already began- it´s longer than expected, so… I had to eliminate another book if I wanted to read the one listed on the book club -and one of my unspoken New Year´s resolutions is to read more of the books chosen there-.
And that´s pretty much it, so with nothing else to say, here´s my list:

Christmas is here! Well, sort of…., I mean is December and Christmas is coming so since last month I made a list of all the books I wanted to read before November ended -which I did! by the way-, and I had previously pretty much abandoned this section of my blog, I decided to do it again.
The only difference is that this time instead of reading monster´s and ghost´s stories, I decided to go for Christmas and winter stories because… Christmas?
I mean, I don´t really like Christmas that much, but I also don´t hate the celebration. So, let´s just say it´s not that big of a deal for me, and that probably has something to do with my family life, but that´s something for another post.
Anyway, this Christmas I´m trying to be more positive and give it a try, so… I´m actually participating in some traditions -some of which are from my country, other´s American, and a mix of both- and reading Christmas books! Hence my list:

I usually dedicate this section to the books I really, really wish to read. The ones that keep teasing me with their synopsis and Goodreads keeps on pushing my way. But since I have only written 2 posts in this section -not counting this one-, I have decided to
do something a little different and make a sort of book list per month -or 2 months-.
I have sort of done something like this in my comic book posts, so… the rules to apply here will be kind of similar.
Anyway, in this instance, I decided to go with books that gave me a kind of Halloween and Día de Muertos feeling, ´cause that´s basically October and November -at least in regards to festivities- are all about in my country if you leave the 20 de noviembre behind -revolutions day-
And I know that October is almost over, but this just makes it more fun to see if at least I´ll manage to finish one book in a week, right?
Anyhow, these are my October-November picks -warning I don´t like horror-:

It´s been a year a little over a year since I started this sort of blog, and while I haven´t been the most consistent writer -something I´m trying to work on-, I think I have done a pretty decent job so far, one that I intend to continue doing and wish to improve on; so… as part of this hopeful improvement, there´s this post.
As some of you might know, one of my first posts ever was one about all the TV series I wanted to see. It was a very short one, that basically consisted of a picture of my first attempt ever to make an excel table of my TV schedule and a very brief description of what was happening there; But because I was really nervous, by the time I posted my TV table, a lot of the shows mentioned there, had already have their premiere.
This year isn´t that different, except for the fact that somehow even though some of the series I love were canceled -bye, bye Agent Carter you´ll be truly missed-, somehow I think I ended up with a list longer than last´s year.

So I know that 1 or 2 of this shows have already begun, but since I´m new to the blogging thing…, I decided to share for the first time ever, my list of all the shows that I´m planning -keyword “planning”- to watch this season.
There are more than I expected and less than the ones I watched last year -you should see my anime list- but here they are:
I´ll watch all of the new show pilots -in fact I already saw 1 or 2- and give them the 3 to 4 episode trial, so as the time passes I´ll probably leave some of them for the mid-season and I might just stop watching others, and of course I´ll try to write about the ones I´m liking and the episodes of my favorite shows.
There are obviously other shows that I´m watching, some that begin on the mid-season, dates I don´t know yet and some others that I must finish watching but… I´ll write about them later.
As for now, maybe I´ll try to write about the first impressions I got from this week premiering TV shows, such as Blindspot, Scream Queens, The Muppets, Limitless, The Player and of course The Bastard Executioner -that one premiered last week, but last week I didn´t have this blog so…- and I might also look into trying to do the same for the animes I´m watching or planning to watch and the comics I´m reading -keyword here being “try”-, anyhow let´s see how this works out.
